But i think ralsei isn't supposed to be romantic but rather overly supportive to the point of annoyance since he's literally an inanimate object obsessed with pleasing the lightners and fulfilling the prophecy and shit. I really hate the chapter 2 tunnel scene because it tries to subtly please the femboy gooner fanbase which is just very weird and awkward.
Because of that I would love to see the growth of his character into a more independent and normal one in chapter 5 like it was already started in chapter 4.
Also ralsei isn't literally asriel but he rather takes his form to cater to Kris more.

It's all very confusing for me tbh, I don't really get this whole thing about who's the player and who's kris atp. As far as I'm concerned at the moment, Ralsei is probably just attracted to us since he's been locked up in the castle alone for so long, and all of a sudden he sees what he believes is his creator, and has to serve him as his duty as a darkner.
