Can someone tell me a genuine reason to why women 'gamers' are like this other then "le foid = le bad" because this shit genuinely pisses me off

>Be at a family reunion
>Cousin's GF is talking about video games
>Making conversation with her and ask her what games she likes to play and what genres she's into
>She gives me an instagram reels curated lineup of Fortnite, Elden Ring, and Animal Crossing
>Ask her what games she has the most playtime in/what system she plays on
>"I grew up with 3 brothers, so I grew to love watching them play video games! I love watching [insert loud obnoxious streamer here]!"
>"That's cool, but what games do you like to play?"
>Uncomfortable silence
>"I just like to watch!"
>???
>My gf says almost the exact same thing word for word
>"I grew up watching my dad play video games, so I love watching people play! I love [gay streamer]!"
>"Why don't you play too?"
>"Because I don't have a system!"
>Her dad buys her 3k worth of PC parts to build her a beast of a custom PC rig for Christmas
>It's fully assembled, turned on, benchmarked, all the stops
>She hasn't used it once and probably never will, but still has the time for 6 hours of screentime average on instagram

I love this woman and I'm not trying to hate because it's clear this is just a female thing in general rather then her specifically, because it's the exact same conversation I've had a million times with every woman I've ever interacted with that brought up video games.

What compels the majority of women (exceptions prove the rule, don't tell some retarded shit like "this one girl I know grinds Smite and is a REAL gamer!") to NOT be compelled to actively participate in the hobbies they claim to enjoy? They talk endlessly about the barriers of entry to picking up a game they'll spend hours a day watching:

>"Oh I don't have a system"
>Then buy one?
>"It's too expensive" (looking at 5,000 super computers)
>Buy something cheaper? Maybe get a second hand rig? Surely you have friends or family members who don't want their gear anymore?
>"I don't know if I'd be any good at it"
Why do most women in the gaming space act like this? Anytime I see a woman voice her opinion on video games now I nod politely and respond like I'm listening but I'm filtering out everything they say because I know they probably have never touched a controller beyond handing it to a man.
