Imagine steam was owned by facebook, and anybody could submit an unlimited number of games there for free, so they submit every single half baked half completed tutorial they do onto the games store and try to sell it as a finished product. And while it's technically compatible with finished games on an external platform, there are maybe a total of 3-4 worth your time. That's the current state of VR.
