WOW. BAD day today. Not only are we down 2.2k from yesterday but news was released on how many copies of Marathon sold. 1.2m. Wow. That is LOW. I was expecting 800k on PC 400k on XBOX 400k on PS5 totally 1.6k, but I was WAYYYY off. 55M dollars made is far off from the 3.7B to buy Bungie and hundreds of millions to produce the game, and sales have pretty much flatlined. We also learned that of those 1.2m only 345k are logging in, meaning 71.35% of player base quit the game already.
We also learned that 78.2% of Marathon players also played Destiny, which would explain why we're seeing people fight to the death to protect the corpse of this game. If anyone hasn't read the article, I would recommend it as it goes into more detail.
https://alineaanalytics.substack.com/p/marathon-has-sold-12m-copies-acrossIn better news, Crimson Desert announced selling 3 million copies today. This is copies, not the usual shareholder cope of 3 million players, it's COPIES.
