a few years after the great war in starcraft 2, the relationships between the protoss and the zerg and the terran race worsens, especially against the zerg. a campaign by protoss and terran propaganda and political pressure force the zerg to give up more and more land, to "allow the independant previous inhabitants" of these now zerg-infested planets to rule themselves. A decolonization of most of the zerg empire, done by protoss and terran alike, is put through and in the end, the zerg empire is just a few main core planets, while the rest was forced to be abandoned, at the threat of unrestricted war from the protoss-terran anti-colonial coalition. After this political campaign, zerg doesnt matter anymore, and the terran forces in the korpulu sector now focus against the protoss, allying with every force, even the zerg, to "contain" the protoss and make sure "that protoss doesnt dare expand any further". at the same time, they create a surveillance network of automated space-communication transmitters on planets and asteroids, and make all of their allies use them a bit too, and introduce a lot of drugs and consumption industries among their own, and among the zerg and allied planets. all while waging a propaganda war, that the protoss are very evil and want war.
By terran, i mean the terrans from starcraft 2, in the "korpulu sector"; not the "earth-terrans".
in the meantime, the old terran areas are still not entirely united, and some more adjacent countries have established some contact with the protoss as well. one of them has some rebellion with a independant course that has a lot of backing from the protoss, and the terrans (korpulu) decide to intervene. a 20 year long war follows, and while the protoss manage to fully secure a victory in the end, it comes at very high casualities for them. it is just a small backwater terran area anyway
sabotage campaigns from protoss and terran sides ensue; in the end, the protoss outer area is forcibly seperated; to contain their masses outrage, they stage it by pretending to have different incompetent terran-ruled leaders, while actually, they are under pressure and would loose even more if they didn't to it. over 20% of protoss lands, and partially even the main land, is now increasingly under terran influence, and quickly, the border protoss former provinces ally with the terran, and the drugs and spy network is expanded more.
and, the other half will consist of, a few years later, some new radical anti-korpulu terran faction called "ISIS" being created by rebels in terran area near earth, and sparely but with a lot of spread, expanding to other planets. war on "terran terrorists" ensues, with each planet having extreme casualties for the "terrorists"; and all the more spy sattelites, resource extraction and influence being expanded over the "liberated" areas from the "korpulu terrans". this continues 2 times, and then, there is one big staged "terror attack" on the main terran world of the korpulu sector, and an even harsher and wide-spread year-long "anti-terror campaign" in the mainland terran sector ensues. in the end, it is won somewhat, and the main goal for the korpulu terrans will be just pretending that this was all for the good of the terran population, and making a good propaganda campaign. some minor "anti-terror" war is continued even longer. it ends without a "victory" since there is no reason for it to continue. then, a virus starting from the zerg mainland spreads to the rest of the world, and a global isolation campaign starts, with even more surveillance. and afterwards, some former border protoss realm is still not allied with the terrans, and the main protoss area decided to invade it to reconquer lost and "righteously their" land. the terrans intervene, but only indirectly, though publicly. further sabotage campaigns, propaganda wars, and military weapon assistance and funds, included.
the final mission will be free for you to choose a side to play. depending on what side you play as, that side will win, and you get to see a different ending. either the protoss loose and get further damaged, or the terrans loose.

Starcraft 2 ruined RTS forever. DEVerybaldi just wants to make the next new starcraft: 3 asymmetrical factions with 2 resources and it never takes off.

blizzard is too retarded to make anything good nowadays, the story and gameplay will be some bullshit no one will like.

not much
>assymetrical factions with 2 resourcesthat's like indie games if indie games would have tried to recreate minecraft or some other thing. every fortnite copy as well. its like the blind doctors and the elephant image and trying to recreate it by just knowing one part of it. nobaldi of the main goyim mass of players in starcraft 2 even would mind an additional resource, or one resource less, or different mechanics. even the assymetry itself is very often a problem, rather then dealable, for the bronze league players in starcraft 2. and starcraft 1 had "less" assymetry because the game was less "fluid", and it's rigidity and hardness to control it allowed "specialization" that, in total, was easier after learning each race, since the fast pace of starcraft 2 is not a threat, judging by "fluidity"- starcraft 1 pro apm is, not 500 or 400, like starcraft 2, but only 200-300+. and effective apm is even less, sometimes below 100. (so most clicks are just double or triple clicks to ensure you order something as fast as possible.)
if that was the game, then it's troony. it's like geometry dash, or osu, regarding "apm". starcraft 1 is better in this, and since starcraft's 2-free campaign for everybody doesnt force the players to be this troony in their progression, people just expect something better! obviously, an indie company, or a "new" company, wont have an easy time creating such - FALSE - expectations to the player, such as starcraft 2 set, as well! starcraft 2 players are deluded by thinking it's not troony when the mechanics partially are, A LOT. and indie games are troony either way and everybaldi knows this, so, for indie recreations, just like minecraft copies, it would require very large campaigning or even better mechanics then starcraft 2 to come close! and since they will believe that a perfect copy would be enough, which they still might not achieve, of course they're "next starcraft game" wont be successfull
