<Bethesda has always been a shit studio making slop games tailored specifically to generate sales via the lowest common denominator. Millennials and early zoomers like their respective favorite Bethesda games only because they played them as kids and are now stuck in the nostalgia trap. If you took 10 adults who have good taste and lots of gaming experience but have never played Morrowind and make them play the game for the first time, 9 are going to say it sucks ass.

I remember a couple of months ago I saw some screenshots from an ancient internet forum of posts dated around the release of Morrowind, and the consensus among the locals was that Morrowind is low attention to detail slop for casuals and children, and that Arena and Daggerfall were the real masterpieces and cult classics. Time is a flat circle. If Bethesda ever releases TES VI, by 2030 you'll see 4 hour long jewtube videos detailing how Oblivion and Skyrim are two forgotten Bethesda classics and how Bethesda ruined it all and started making consoomerslop after Skyrim.

Fallout 4 was the only good game Bethesda has ever made. My son works for a shadow government institute which has goals far beyond my comprehension? I'm still going to support him and nuke the wasteland because blood is thicker than water.

I agree though. i only played skyrim and daggerfall and even though i praised daggerfall so much, i still think that daggerfall, being the best part of it, is not good enough.
