They did this exact shit in Yakuza 0 Director's Cut (or so its called when Nagoshi doesn't even work at SEGA anymore) too where they retcon impactful deaths. What the fuck is the point? Why does the story need to be changed? RGG Studio has done nothing but drag their reputation through the mud for the past few months. Not to even mention they're obviously gonna delist Yakuza 3 Remastered from Steam in favor of a $60 "improvement" just like 0 and Kiwami 1 & 2.
