I've been replaying Ys 8 recently. It's a good hack-and-slash action game. Not as good as pre-Seven Ys, but I'd rather play LoD than any modern Sqeenix brimstone. Heard Ys X was decent, but haven't touched it yet because Falcom's pulling a kike special and re-releasing the game post launch with some new crap.
