all the same, im not autistic enough to enjoy doing the same things over and over but slightly differently
also they all have pixel graphics and goofy tumblr/reddit worldbuilding
the only one i like is Spelunky 2 cause all the runs do feel different making you adapt more than just play on auto and its a 2D platformer
i played isaac, gungeon moonlighter and loop hero and i didnt like any of them

1 is just a worse version of 2 but it has quite a lot of other shit so if you really want you can get it, also story just like in most roguelikes basically doesnt exist

I love a good townbuilder but I always wished there was more to do at the endgame of Sim City or Cities: Skylines.
Mashing roguelite elements on top solves that problem for me. Simply start over and build a new town but with some new upgrades and unlocks this time.
I'm also very much enjoying Against the Storm. The King is Watching is cute but Against the Storm is where the real money's at.
