Recently finished the first one, easily became my favorite. Just started the second one, but the combat is too damn hard.

You have to go to Navarro first because the combat is so bad, it becomes necessary just not to get randomly destroyed by a critical hit that deals three times your health

Fallout doesn't require skill doe. You click on the enemy to make their numbers go down; if you are lucky you get a crit and kill them quick. If your enemies get a crit they kill you like it's nothing.
You need the best protection to prevent this annoyance, and once you know the power armor is at Navarro, there is no reason not to go there.
Also the game lets you save in the middle of a fight because they knew their combat was terrible.

It's all about the story and world for me. I beat these games numerous times and i no longer play them because it's pretty much the same since i know where the story and missions are going
