A sequel to Ricochet could be perfect multiplayer to try the controllers, just turn it into a third person shooter instead of Deadcock.

Personally, I'm of the mind that Half Life 3 and Portal 3 are somehow going to be the same game. IIRC the plot of Half Life 2 was starting to lean into involving Aperture with the Borealis and all that. I don't know exactly how they'd pull it off, but I feel like the single coolest way they could handle both entries is to essentially make them two halves of the same story.

Plus, if something like that is the angle they're going for, it would honestly explain why HL3 has been in fucking purgatory for so long.

Erik Wolpaw (The lead writer for both portal games) has said he wants to make Portal 3 so they’re definitely not ever making it. Also no more brother wars Half-Life, Portal and Left 4 Dead are all amazing series.

I feel like Portal 2 has a good ending for the series, making a Portal 3 would be like Pixar making Toy Story 4, not really needed.

At the end of Portal 2 it shows a peaceful field and Portal 2 takes place decades/centuries after Half Life 2 so I like to pretend humanity is extinct, but that's just my POV though

Anyways it’s not happening cause valve is niggerish and only cares about csgo skins. Also employees all got adhd and can’t get anything done.
