There is no such thing as a good gacha game, there is no such thing as a gacha game that's good despite being a gacha game. There are gacha games that are good *by gacha standards* but those standards are so low that the only people who really care are semi-sentient south east asians, porn addicts, troons and flavour of the month twitch streamers. It's everything that's wrong with the design of a game like World of Warcraft with the additional fuckery of having a paygated rng mechanic behind whether or not you even have the characters you're grinding to level up, a fandom filled with sub-80 IQ normies, tumblr feminists, transexuals and lolicons and incredibly on-the-nose gnostic imagery and in the case of Mihoyo gachas references to literal goetic demons which is surely not linked to anything spiritually harmful.

I've been playing that game for a while now out of boredom. It's not that bad, because it's one of the few games where spending money is probably a horrid use of money, since it's really not even that hard. It's not F2P friendly like other gachas, but it's very easy to scrape by. Only autistic collectionfags would spend money on this game, there's no reason otherwise.

Pretty much. Gacha games are the antithesis to good game design because a gacha game must necessarily rely on exploiting either the player's time or money unfairly; making it boring encourages buying characters/gear/whatever to speed up progress and make the game less boring and grindy

It's because of the formula of Free2Play games. In order for them to make money, there must be an artificial problem and then the solution that can be sold. The problem is that most Free2Play games still have to be good in order to maintain its playerbase. Even games like Clash Royale that are barely Free2Play friendly are still widely played because it is an objectively decent semi-casual PvP game. MOST Gacha games usually do not contain a good base at all, however. For example is Cookie Run Kingdom, one of the most sloppiest pieces of shit I've ever played. It's actually just mindless grinding. But of course normieGODS just consoom anything nowadays. Shit, if I wanted to grind I'd rather play MMOs because at least they have higher lifespans than the average Gacha chinkslop.
