do the WWAN slot SSD upgrade (look up tutorial) since this gives you an easy increase in fast storage, a compatible drive can be had on eBay etc. The best part about this is you can keep both drives.
You should install (any) Linux to get the most out of it as Windows 11 is awful. Ubuntu or Fedora/Bazzite are user friendly and just work. (fuck mint)

I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're refering to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
