Ipod 4th or 5th gen. you can easily get one for under 40 bucks and it's extremely sturdy, battery is easily replacable, can fit up to 64 gigs of music, fits in the pocket etc. Itunes can be ran on modern systems and should be compatible with older generations, but if you want to larp my recommendation is to research which version is the first to implement support for your particular version of ipod ,download from oldversion dot com and then install it on a win xp machine if you have one.
