I use win 10 ltsc iot, it's certainly the cleanest windows experience I had in years, but I also had to troubleshoot some esoteric issues too so it was similar to linux in that regard
if you plan to switch to it I can send you some tweaks I did so you can avoid the same problems in the future

I'm never switching to win11 btw, I hate rounded corners on my windows

If you have issues with games crashing open regedit and go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
there, make decimal key TdrDelay with value of 10
and decimal key TdrLevel with value of 0
(if the keys are already there then just edit them to match the values)

I had an issue with explorer.exe randomly freezing and not restarting, requiring me to hard reset my pc, I think edge caused it so make sure to COMPLETELY obliterate it from your system with some utility like https://github.com/ionuttbara/edge-remover

no point in 10 unless you have ancient hardware in your machine

I tried Windows 10 LTSC on my one of my laptops running with an Intel Celeron and 4 GB of RAM and it's so unbearably slow that I installed Debian on it instead
