I don’t know why, but my experience with fedora has been really disappointing. Boot times were at least twice as long as any other distro I've tried, installing multimedia codecs was a pain in the ass, and for some reason web pages loaded painfully slowly in the browser. It just feels broken and slow overall. Even Ubuntu with its fucking snaps somehow manages to feel faster.
