i get why it sounds dont make sense first but before dismissing it entirely just look at some anomalies in physics that look suspiciously like computer.. first consider the observer effect specifically the double slit experiment.. when we dont observe particles they exist as waves but the moment we measure them they collapse into a position.. this is eerily similar to frustum culling in video games where the engine only renders what the player is looking at to save system performance.. why would the universe need to optimize itself based on observation if it was organic.. second reality isnt infinitely smooth there is a hard math limit called planck length.. u cant have a distance smaller than this it acts exactly like a grid or pixels on a screen.. finally the whole universe operates on strict math laws.. everything follows a structure almost as if it was written in code.. if the universe has a resolution limit and optimizes performance when observed is the theory really that ridiculous
