What wayland window manager should I go with? I was thinking dwl but it's now unmaintained. mangowc seems like the most similar but it's bloated. I have no idea about i3, sway, or hyprland, but I want the most autistically minimal setup possible.

I use hyprland because it just works, I get the appeal of suckless shit, yet I don't like digging around configs just to run it o algo.

I3 is x11.
I used to use hyprland and the only good thing about it was how easy it is to customise and make it look good, other than that it's laggy, bloated, has built in troonime wallpapers and the creator is a lolipedo nigger.
I recommened niri, it's similiar to hyprland in terms of customisability but it's a scrollable tiling window manager and runs a lot better for me, plus you don't have to use a shitty 'cord to get help with anything.

I used to use i3 on X. So I just switched to Sway after they added disabling Vsync (allow_tearing). I use it in tabbed by default layout and I use WASD keys for movement.

I took a look on their website and they shilled nintendo yahoo soy bloat like animations and gaps as features. If I press a button I want the result fully rendered the next frame. I want it as boring and out of the way as possible. Also it appeared to be a yet another dynamic tiling WM, which unlike i3/sway don't do tabbed or split screen the way I want. So I stuck with Sway.
