this board is a dnb but oh well
how do i structure a game engine? most tutorials focus on single tasks like graphics or audio but they never mention game engines as a whole
for example, how can i handle global state? global state is generally frowned upon in the programming space but its essential for things like input or graphics.
another thing that im struggling with is game objects. some engines use regular objects (godot), some use maps (source) and some use ecs (unity DOTS)
