Background is okay, the form is shit, 0 consistency

>>21088 (OP)The background gradient doesnt match vaporwave and has to little things happening. You use 3 different fonts for 4 texts, the 'aesthetic' text doesnt fit in one line. Rounding doesn't fit vaporwave and you used too much of it anyways, i'd just remove it. The little ui this has is very inconsistent and looks bad, again the gradient on the search button doesnt fit.

why does everybody do this? this looks like a personal project too why don't you just learn how to do it it's not like your goal is to actually finish it and put it out

bump, I’m making something similar. I’ll make a thread on it later. Did you do any of the actual search engine stuff yet or just vibe-coded the front-end to make yourself feel like you actually did something? Front-end is the worst part of web-dev imo so I just do the backend and use ai to help with the CSS styling, but relying entirely on AI is just lazy.

remove the vibecoded gradient and make it simpler, like the 90s websites. If you decide to take inspiration from those, you will get a better retro/vaporwave vibe
