What is Space Station 13
Space station 13 is a deception game taken place onboard a space station owned by a megacorporation thats bordering on being its own government entity. It is very similar to Trouble in Terrorist Town and players may choose from around 45 jobs to play as all with unique mechanics and gameplay, while a select few percent of the crew are selected to be Antagonists, their goal to stop the operations of the space station or whatever else may be required of them and are given a unique set of abillities and equipment to do so, they might be shapeshifting aliens, rival corporations with smuggled equipment, or part of radical cults with real magic.

How do I join?
Download byond from https://www.byond.com/download/ or if its down https://files.catbox.moe/6zmmyw.zip
Let it download into the default directory it wants to, but if you don't have space there it should be fine to move it

How do I join on Linux?
BYOND (https://lutris.net/games/byond/). Install the version listed as "Byond 516 build with the Microsoft Edge Webview2 replacment for IE11." Make sure you download the Evergreen installer from here, since Lutris will need it to play SS13. (https://developer.microsoft.com/en-us/Microsoft-edge/webview2).
The game might sperg about how someone with a similar computer ID as you connected, but that shouldn't be an issue. It should run mostly fine, I think. (this is caused because LinuxGODs share the same CIDS).

You can join the server as a guest without an account

One it's finished downloading, and you are done registering load up byond (it should launch on start but may not appear, access it through search bar or the arrow button and click on the logo)

Paste the server IP (byond://ss13.soyjak.st:8888) into your browser search bar and allow it to take you, you can use Ctrl + O in byond then paste the link into the top box then press "OK",

You have joined the server, click setup character to make a character, then join game to pick a job, anything else you can press O to ask the entire server a question or F1 to ask an admin a question/report someone posting 'p

GLOBAL RULES
1. You WILL NOT upload, post, request, or link to illegal content anywhere on the server.

2. You WILL NOT advocate, promote, or post pedophilia or pedophilic content, including pedophilic jokes anywhere on the server.

3. You WILL NOT advertise for your shitty ERP servers, discord servers, telegram channels, on the server.
Participating in a hostile or disruptive community outside of the server/site will result in a ban.

4. You WILL NOT play on this server if you are below the age of 16. If you are underage, you can always play soycraft instead.

5. You WILL NOT attempt to get this server or the site taken down.

IN-GAME RULES
1. ERP is forbidden, if you're looking to goon to 2d pixels then you're on the wrong server.

2. Do not mass-grief as a non-antag for no reason and avoid killing new players merely trying to play the game. If you want do something funny but breaks this rule, ask about it in AHELP or make an OPFOR request so you can get gear for it.
Griefing is perfectly fine and encouraged against liggers, moths and goblins.

3. This server is a low roleplay environment (LRP), but can be no roleplay (NRP) at times. Light amounts of roleplay is recommended, but no roleplay is fine. If it does get to a point where NRP can ruin the experience of others, then you may be warned for it.

4. All borgs and AI have to follow their laws unless they are antagonists.
This includes dronetrannies too, don't kill everyone just because you're a dronekike.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION
As a general practice, It is recommended to play this server with an alternative account or a guest account if you wish to play other Space Station 13 servers, as they have been noted for banning you simply for finding you playing here.
All sharty related bans will transfer to the server, if you've been permanently banned for anything.
