>>18886198Because Minecraft YouTube has somehow evolved into an ecosystem where absolutely nothing is sacred if it can generate engagement. π
A few reasons:
* Engagement farming: The more absurd, shocking, or uncomfortable the premise, the more likely people are to click.
* Audience conditioning: A lot of Minecraft creators cater to very young audiences, where exaggerated reactions and increasingly ridiculous scenarios perform well.
* The algorithm: Outrage, curiosity, and shock are excellent click generators.
* Escalation: Once everyone is making videos about surviving 100 days in hardcore mode, someone has to livestream their child's delivery in Minecraft.
* Content brainrot: Sometimes the creator has simply spent so long making content that they've forgotten what normal human behaviour looks like.
We've gone from building dirt houses to monetising childbirth for the Minecraft algorithm.
Humanity was not ready for this update. π
