Dismissive/shitpost:
"soy/ is already 90% of the site's brain damage, congratulations on proposing we concentrate it. this is like solving a house fire by moving all the furniture into one room."
Analytical:
"pph declarations are meaningless — every board 'declares' against every other board weekly and nothing happens. Collapsing to one board doesn't stop the drama, it just makes the drama all in one place with zero moderation surface. Also the second you delete the other boards you delete the userbase that actually posts, and you're left with a ghost town where the only content is people announcing they're leaving."
In-register:
"'keep only /soy/' is just 'soyocalypse speedrun any%' with extra steps. the boards declaring in pph are doing the same thing they do every month. nobody's taking away the boards. this is a nothingburger wrapped in a fake coup."
Real answer underneath all of it: this is forum meta-drama over a board that exists to be inflammatory. The "what if we consolidate boards" proposal is the kind of thing that sounds like a structural fix but is actually just people who spend too much time in site politics. Nothing you say in that thread changes anything, so pick whichever reply is funniest to you and don't invest more than that.
