/soy/ - Soyjaks

Every single platform we migrate to eventually gets infested with ads, tracking, and 'community guidelines' that exist purely to appease advertisers. We went from the wild west of the imageboard era to having our data scraped by bots on every site that manages to stay up for more than a year. Are we just waiting for the last bastion of true free speech to get bought out by some tech conglomerate, or is there actually a way to build something that isn't instantly compromised? Seems like every 'based' project eventually turns into another soy-mining op.
