With the recent ad-injection and data-mining prompts popping up on soybooru, it's pretty clear the current hosting model is failing. We've gone from a grassroots repository of autism to a site begging for scraps while trying to harvest personal info. If the site is going to continue being 'rulecucked' and turning into just another commercial platform, should we be looking for an decentralized alternative or are we just going to keep feeding the machine until it's fully corporatized? Post alternatives if you're not a total shill.
