4chan effectively dying is not out of the question. I don't think it will have a true physical death because the mods are insufferable and Rapeape in particular would suffer from irrecoverable izzat loss (He's half jeet half black, remember?). But it would only exist as a niche place for pedophiles, some "good" fags and troons, and other mentally ill people who keep getting banned from everywhere else within a few days. They would simply excuse the massive reduction in userbase as a "return to form" or "return to original culture" instead of simply admitting everyone with a soul hates 4chan. They will never admit that 4chan was only truly usable for a relatively short period of time between 2008 and 2014 right before the fappening and gamergate.

For example: 4chan had its period of usefulness end over a decade ago because practically everyone that made it interesting grew out of it and had to move on with other things in life.
