My fellow Catholics, it is Allhallowtide, which means you can obtain a plenary indulgence for your dearly departed loved ones who are suffering in purgatory right now by making a pilgrimage to a church, oratory, or cemetery and reciting the Lord's Prayer and the Apostles' Creed each day from November 1st to November 8th. During this time, the Church has seen it fit to draw upon the treasury of merit, using the power of the keys that Christ has granted to her, and apply its benefits to the souls in purgatory, who she prays for in each Mass, to release them from their temporal punishments and into the gates of heaven and the presence of Christ in the beatific vision. This is an extraordinary time in the Church, when the prayers of the saints can make atonement for those in purgatory.
