Imagine, you live in indonesia, overweight, you work as a minimum wage worker as a store clerk or something that pays 5 dollars a day, the store you work in is mostly empty, outside, there are only dirt roads, no proper asphalt roads or brick sidewalks, just dirt and some small rocks. You spend most of your day sitting at the cash registry (or wherever people pay, since there may or may not be a proper cash registry there) and you mostly scroll on your phone when there are no customers and no work to do. When your 13 hour shift is done, you come home, it doesn't even have a proper plaster, let alone a paint. the walls are either grey or brick orange. The bathroom doesn't have a showerhead, when you wash (on the rare occasion that you do) you pour it into a bucket and use a plastic cup to pour it onto yourself. You eat a carb and fat heavy diet, when you do get poultry, it usually doesn't feel exactly "clean" neither is it the good part of the animal, but you eat it anyway. You live with your mom, dad and 2 other siblings. When the day is finally over and you go to your room to rest, you turn on your computer, which is an old shitty one with a dirty keyboard, it took you months to save up enough money to even buy it from the used market, there are smoked cigarettes all over your desk some in ashtrays, some spilling out to your desk, you don't clean it. You load it up, you open twitter and start browsing. You see all the most recent erotic loli drawings made by the biggest loli artists, you like and retweet them all. You make comments like "brat needs correction uooooohhh💢💢😭" you spend time and chat with your lolicon friends, play loli games like blue archive, masturbate to loli hentai. After 3.5 hours of that, you're tired, you turn it off and go to bed, you doomscroll on your phone for half an hour before finally falling asleep, at 2.30 am. You wake up tomorrow, 8 am, with insufficient rest, and feeling awful because you ate some food late in the night. You drowsily put on your pants and your "clean" outside shirt, no time to even wash your face, the acne that you already have on there feels itchy but still, no time, you put on your socks that you've been wearing without a wash for a week, and your shoes, a cheap knock-off brand, you replace it around once every 7 months because of the wear and tear. You get on your scooter and scoot to work. Another day has begun, the cycle repeats. You have no off-days, this is your entire life.
Do these people ever stop and think, what am I doing with my life? What kind of human am I? Imagine actually being in their skin and leading that life. What are their motivations to continue doing what they do?
