Ok I'm taking this thread as opportunity to gossip.
I was one of the nujannies that Salt hired and got 'nished for not having enough ban requests under my belt.
When the IRC was still a thing, there was a super sekrit channel where some of joons were hanging out, but the channel password was changed everytime a janny lost their job.
The current moderators are all former quote-era jannies, while the Nujannies are technically supposed to listen to them. /j/ itself is pretty snca and it became much more inactive after a few weeks. What nujannies really loved was to anporve everything without looking at it. You could see 5 minute long videos get anporved in 10 seconds, nothing was actually checked, despite the steganography script existing for that very purpose.
Somebaldi was also tracking the nujannies in a list (Salt Games) to see who gets their account deleted.
The Moderators have a tendency to get leaky if you ban-request stuff because they don't like actually having to do stuff. The ban request queue would sometimes have posts in them FOR HOURS without anything happening.
