What brought me to this site was the chuds, as far as i knew this site was, at least at one point chuddy, but now even that word has lost all value.
I didnt keep up with admin, namefag drama or even read the wiki, until very recently so i stayed a newgod pretty much my entire time here, learning more about the sites history and meta as i spent time here. shitposting, falseflagging, gemposting, coalposting, the whole nine, But now its all for nothing, all the soyteens i posted along side of have left. All the unironic chuds were replaced with faggy brown children. All sharty memes including soys themself are mainstream and ruined now, "sharty history" is constantly being revised by wiki newfags who werent even there, soybooru was hit the hardest by time.
I miss the country wars and shit flinging now, this sites humour is twitter tier post irony. I hate it, and i partially hate myself for getting addicted to this site. But even if its shitty ill stay up until the bitter end, something something sunk cost fallacy.
I guess everyone just grew up, and took sharty memes to their irl groupchats. Idk i feel like a loser, like im missing out on wherever the soyteens went but they probably just became normalfags. I dunno

It might be true. If this site's golden era is long gone, gentrified and there's no point in posting anymore, i think the demoralization is valid. Might as well just stop posting here and a lot of other newfags should too since they're probably not welcomed by older users, along with the normalization of humiliation of being a newfag itself. You see the catty in archives from years ago and it was gemmier. All the oldfags left yet the replacing userbase can't be original, but want to replicate them.
