Tonight my daughter told me to f off because I've been in such a mood lately and I need to cut it out with that crap. 10 minutes ago I suddenly started getting a hot flush and thought, this shouldn't be happening, so I checked my leg only to find no patch.

My brain then chooses that moment to remind me that I should have applied a new one a week ago. I'm sat crying at gone 3.30am because even though it's only a mild 23° it feels like I'm in a sauna, also my daughter thinks I'm a massive bitch. I will apologise to her in the morning and explain (although she hates hearing about my "icky problems"). I've now set a repeating alarm because I obviously can't count on my stupid stupid brain.

TL;DR: Forgot to apply new HRT patch. Menopause symptoms returned with a vengeance.
