I simply knew I wasn't talking to the same people or even the same kind of people that I was talking to in 2012. I swear 4chan has a 2-3 year user turnover rate. Only the very worst people who get banned literally everywhere else within a few days stay on 4chan longer than that, with very few exceptions. So the decent one grow up and out of 4chan, and the trash keeps piling up. The more trash that piles up, the faster decent people move on. So alright, there is some form of a somewhat stable userbase core, but the kind of people who make up that core are absolute trash who torment each other. Naturally, the website slowly dies simply by being bad for everyone.
