I think religion OVERALL is a scam meant to pacify people and make them feel better. maybe there's some wisdom in there you can get but the way religion is implemented really is an opiate for the masses and a giant way to control people and milk cash from them.
Jesus didn't intend for mega churches where a few rich dudes makes millions off of peoples donations.
