Fun fact: Halloween is a Christian holiday. Yes, that is right. It is a Christian holiday. It was initially meant to celebrate and honor those who died and also at the same time honored the saints in heaven who are alive in Christ. And the name Halloween itself comes from All Hallows Eve. All Hallows means all saints, and it was of the eve of All Hallow Mass, which is All Saints Mass.

So instead of just going to a Halloween party like a typical normgroid, go pray to God, remember your deceased family members, pray for them.

>muh paganism

Yes, some of the practices of the holiday do include some form of paganism, but the intent itself is fundamentally honoring those who followed Christ and commemorating the deceased Christians.

>Halloween,[a] also known as All Hallows' Eve,[9] or All Saints' Eve,[10] is a celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Hallows' Day. It is at the beginning of the observance of Allhallowtide,[11] the time in the Christian liturgical year dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.
It's fundamentally a Christian holiday. If you want to celebrate Halloween traditionally, go to the cemetery and visit your dead relatives and pray for them. Maybe pray a rosary dedicated for them so they may be alleviated in their time in purgatory. Or go to Mass to a parish.
