my parents spanked and whooped me a lot. They usually used belts, but in some cases they used tree branches and extension cords to discipline me. They did this fairly frequently. I did misbehave but I dont think I ever did anything bad enough to justify the amount of times they hit me and with intensity. Over the years I went from being a fairly social kid to an incel loser who is scared to talk to people.
Did my parents think beating me with sticks would make me a better person or something
