Some months ago I bought a glass teacup, it's very pretty. I don't just spend money on random shit, I saw it and I thought "I don't have a glass teacup, but now I will." Well turns out, its lime-glass or some shit and the sticker on it says maximum temperature 80°C, curious. I checked it on some other site and again, maximum temperature 80°C. I checked their site and wouldn't you believe it maximum temperature 80°C. This kinda fucking sucks, what's the point of a teacup of I need to babysit it and check the temperature of the water beforehand.
I'm stuck in a conundrum now, everywhere I look some people say it's not safe to pour hot water into lime-nigger glass and others say its a-okay. If Im wrong, my teacup will shatter, scald me with hot water and turn everything on my desk a hot sticky mess. If I'm right nothing will happen but I will be paranoid. Pic unrelated
