That doesn't count the people who lie about their addictions to themselves, which is a ton of people. Surveys are borderline worthless for real data about uncomfortable things. Society itself is so messed up that it doesn't feel like it's coming back in my lifetime.

The survey didn't directly ask them if they're addicted it asked them about their behavior with porn and then determined if they were addicted based on some criteria. I haven't read the details of the study though.
