I think the biggest difference in terms of moderation is that the kuz era was more rulecucked than niggas will have you believe, you could post gore and 'cado and DNB and everything, but also there were rules against spam and NAS bait threads would often get deleted for being off-topic and whatever. basically it was rulecucked solely to benefit the native userbase, 'teens could get away with posting almost anything they wanted but outsiders who wanted to coal up the site couldn't. salt seems to be focused on just letting everyone post almost whatever, but that's still a lot better than froot/quote's strategy of fucking over soyteens while letting the site get raped by faggots all day
