I used to be against the booru back in the day because it was an easy way for offshitters to engage with the soysphere without actually using the site, also normgroids would lurk it to find new soy woahjaks for internet battles. Then it became a hotspot for namefags and it was funny for a while and then quote turned it into xhis personal myspace.
Wiki never had those issues because you have to actually browse the shitty in order for it to have any utility. Also it's useful even if you're an oldnigger cause there's no way to remember everything.

Agreed.
It feels like there's a lot of effort put into it, but it still has shitposty funny energy to it.
I think over the past few years it has put less priority on being funny which is a shame. Also I have noticed some pages that were previously deemed alright were censored to have some content removed as well as the edit history removed so you can't view it. As if it was being buried under the rug. Some pages are also kinda biased like the newfag repellent and htsm pages.
