This is the shameful result of extreme and uncontrolled lust. This incident occurred somewhere in the Volta region of Ghana. This is a man who wanted to have sex with his wife but was refused the opportunity by the wife for a simple reason that, the intercourse may lead to another unwanted pregnancy. She explains that, already they are having a hard time caring for the four children they both have. Furious by the woman’s resistance, he decides to slash the throat of his four year old son to reduce the number of children they have so that he can have the opportunity to have sex his wife to produce another child to replace the one he has slayed. Mind you, the motive behind his action is not about producing to cater for the child but to satisfy his uncontrolled lust.

A four year old boy looses his precious life for no other reason than the very disgustful reason that someone is bursting with extreme lust. Was this not his own son? did he not once care for him? did he not once babysit him? did he not call him daddy every time? Then how come this man could not show mercy to this poor boy? the answer is just simple, extreme lust makes one loose his mind. When people are really consumed with lust, they loose their thinking capacity. They suffer myopia during the period, therefore they hardly see or recognize. Am going to tell you why.

”A 60yrs old man sexually abuses a 7yrs old girl”, the headline reads. What the hell is wrong with this man!! everyone exclaims. This child could even be his grand daughter!!. You see, that should tell us the length at which extreme lust can send us. Extreme lust blinds it hostage to real life situations. They experience mirages of all falsehood in life and view them as realities. You will only realize that this 60yrs old man saw grown up ladies features in this little girl because he had become myopic and illusion-filled. Extreme lust has been the cause of many of the world’s problems today. A balloon has a limit to the amount of air it can contain, therefore when it exceeds this limit, it blows up and we can attest to the fact it really explodes with extreme power.

Lust was created by God as an attachment to the human system, but he created it with a limit and a specified purpose. When we refuse to kill a baby snake today and it grows into a mother snake to bites us tomorrow, can we blame anyone?? NO!! because we gave it room to grow. It is the same with lust. Lust is very controllable at the initial stage, but when it exceeds it boundary or limit, it will only lead to harm, shame and problems. Before it grows into something else like that of this pathetic mans’, work on it. Fight it! don’t give it room to grow because you might do worse than he has done. Anything that can make you loose your senses, sight and personality is not anything to joke around with. Deal with it before it deals with you. It rather unfortunate this pathetic man has become a victim of this not-really-known facts. LETS HEAL THE WORLD TOGETHER.
