Jeremiah chapter 31:31-33:
>Behold, the days shall come, saith the Lord, and I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah, not according to the covenant which I made with their Fathers, but this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel. After those days, saith the Lord, I will give my law to their bowels, and I will write in their heart, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
This means that the covenant of the Jews, the covenant of Abraham, shall be universalized. This does not mean that us Christians should obey and support the Jews, for the Jews, their covenant has already been eclipsed, fulfilled in this prophecy.
First Peter 2:9-10.
>But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a purchased people, that you may declare His virtues, who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Who in past time were not a people, but now the people of God.
Even a born Jew, Pope Saint Peter, uses the language usually reserved for the chosen people of God now and applies it to Christians, who are universal.
Galatians 3:29
>And if you be Christ's, then are you the seed of Abraham, heirs according to the promise.
Here, it is said that we are heirs according to Abraham's promise, according to Saint Paul. This means that us, the Gentiles, through baptism and belief in Christ, we have entered His holy covenant. His covenant is no longer bound by the blood of his descendants, but the blood of all nations. Those who affirm the one true God worshipped by Abraham all those thousands of years ago, is part of His covenant.
Ephesians 2:12
>That you were at that time without Christ, aliens from the conversation of Israel, and strangers to the testaments, having no hope of the promise…
Now therefore you are no more strangers and foreigners; but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are the domestics of God.
Saint Paul here also says that we, as the Gentiles, are like wild olive trees who are grafted into the larger tree of the covenant. We are the wild branches grafted, and we are part of this new universal covenant that has eclipsed the old.
