If you mean rebuild, yeah watch it, they start like a remake but even doe they say they are meant to introduce people into the franchise you cant understand them without watching the original show. The rebuild films are weaker than og Eva and the cgi sucks but it is still enjoyable and talk in a meta level about remaking eva and not being able to grow from it from Anno's perspective. There are some lore shits that I did not get like some Babylonian King stuff but again, these references add just flavor and arent meant to be taken that seriously, they are still fun to investigate doe, I might do some research some day, its like a puzzle
