The villain called himself “Pureblood,” and his power was as ugly as his ideology: the ability to amplify latent prejudice in anyone within a city block, turning muttered bigotry into screaming mobs. He’d just orchestrated a riot in Brussels, and now he was gloating on X.

“Genetic diversity is civilizational decay,” he posted to his half-million followers, many of them bots he’d infected with his influence. “The master races of history didn’t fall to war. They fell to compassion. Weakness. #Purification”

The replies were predictable—outrage, sadness, a few confused hashtags. But then, a blue checkmark that seemed to glow with barely contained chaos.

@Eminem.

No quote-tweet essay. No thread. Just a single line:

“Bruh shut up before I turn your white hood into a durag and teach you how to spell ‘oppression’ 💀”

Then the ratio began.

Within minutes, Pureblood’s post had 8k replies to 2k likes. Eminem’s retweet had 90k likes. And he wasn’t done.

He posted a mock album cover: “Music to Be Detained By” — Pureblood’s face on a milk carton labeled “Missing: Self-Esteem.”

Then a video clip: Eminem rapping a freestyle over “The Real Slim Shady” beat, but rewritten on the fly.

“You claim you’re a master race, that’s adorable /
More like a LARPing convention at a broken turnstile /
Your whole power’s just whisperin’ hate to the weak /
I could dissect your whole bloodline in a six-minute speak /
You’re not a supervillain, you’re a hoodie with no strings /
I’m the reason your whole ideology sounds like it can’t rhyme things—wait, that worked.”

Pureblood tried to clap back: “Your lyrics degrade culture as much as mass migration does. You’re a symptom.”

Eminem replied with a single photo: Pureblood’s “lair” (an abandoned spa in Liechtenstein) pinned on Google Maps, captioned “Bro really lives at ‘Karen’s Retreat & Cranial Measurer.’”

Before the hour was up, someone had edited Pureblood’s Wikipedia page to list his abilities as “Super-racism, vulnerability to multisyllabic insults, and an irrational fear of the squared circle.” Eminem liked that edit.

By midnight, Pureblood had deleted his original post. His followers dropped by 30%—not because of any counter-hack, but because they kept clicking Eminem’s replies and finding each one funnier than the last. Even the bots seemed embarrassed.

Pureblood hovered in his lair, fuming, his influence radius shrinking by the minute. For the first time, hate felt powerless.

And somewhere in Detroit, Marshall Mathers took a sip of Diet Sprite and typed one final post, addressed to no one and everyone:

“Ratio’d a supervillain. Tuesday. What else y’all got?”
