its worse if you parents are mentally ill and you hear them arguing and you feel like its your fault. like you wake to bangs on the door and your parents screaming at eachother at the top of their lungs as your trying to go to sleep or they threaten to remove the lock on your door because they don't want you locking it to have privacy. or the house is incredibly gross and dirty (this was me) i am really screwed up from it
