I think there is something strangely interesting about the way they simply exist without needing to experience anything. In a way, not feeling can almost be its own kind of feeling, because sometimes just existing is enough to create a sense of meaning. Maybe that's why furniture can seem so peaceful. It doesn't have to think about being furniture.
