I usually don't like admin glazing, but a criminally underappreciated part of salt's ownership was how bans are treated a lot more seriously than before. In quote era you could get banned if someone simply accused you of being x namefag who's ban evading and you'd get permabanned for it without any proof whatsoever and with very little chance to appeal (what the fuck are you even supposed to say in the appeal when the ban is for ban evasion). Simply saying something that resembles something someone else would've said could get you banned. but after salt, this does not happen anymore. People don't get banned without solid evidence. And honestly, that's a substantial improvement. If you've ever dealt with that before, you know.
