The frogs didn't have any commentary behind them and were made to be self-inserts, so they quickly dissipitated into general 4chan culture. The frogs belonged to everybody, and hence to nobody (except people trolling /a/).
Meanwhile the soyjaks commented on soyboys/numales and started off being used as insults (soyquoting), which turned jakkers against other 4channers and split them into their own clique. This clique successfully separated into its own website because it already stood out from the crowd.
Also frenschan existed, was in the top 5 for the biggest altchans, and gave us >ohnononono kek nusoipoopas jsid, but it's dead.
