Foxy exists. He is not a stereotype.
Foxy is sick of low support needs being central to the autism discussion. Cause y’all constantly call Foxy a stereotype, or try to insist something else is “wrong” with him. Or you just flat out ignore he exists. To be clear Foxy knows there’s a spectrum. He thinks y’all are the ones who forget that.
Foxy uses third pronouns cause he is autistic. He also has low empathy and theory of mind. He can come off as uncaring, and is practical to a fault. But you say he has ASPD, or is a fake.
Foxy has big violent meltdowns, and has been restrained because of it. Some of these meltdowns are over:
Wanting to go outside
Struggling with chores.
You say only children do that! Or Foxy infantilising himself for needing others to help regulate like he’s a “baby”.
Foxy sucks his thumb, laughs randomly, squeals, and hits himself when excited.
You say that’s a stereotype.
Foxy often stuck in his own head. Foxy has his thoughts, and his interests, and sometimes people interact with it, but nothing else exists. War in Gaza doesn’t feel real. Climate change not real. Foxy knows it is real, but isn’t really aware of it. You say that’s not true or real.
Foxy can’t clean himself. Can’t push through, or end up doing a shit job because of not understanding + motor problems. Walking around in stained shirt, pants stinking of pee, and hair so oily it sticks up doesn’t sound so aesthetic does it? No matter what you do, you can’t stop stinking.
But it’s only sensory issues or executive dysfunction that can be pushed through! Set alarms! Do reminders! Break into small tasks!
Foxy uses mental age and relates xenogender. Foxy isn’t “stupid” because he doesn’t understand gender. Foxy isn’t infantilising you. Foxy isn’t being offensive by using a label that helps him describe feelings.
Foxy isn’t helpless or baby for probably needing to be in a person to be with him 24/7, and be monitored 24/7, and be in locked house, with monitored money.
Foxy uses AAC. But still he has hard time understanding people often. He prefers to scream than use his ipad.
