>Hiya Nate! It's me, Soytan! Open the door!
Nate looks intently through the peephole while breathing heavily, moistening up his crooked glasses.
<Come in, 'Tanny.
He half opens the door, and Soytan walks inside. The moment she's inside she realizes something is off, the atmosphere inside is dark and there's an unfamiliar stench in the air she'd never smelled before.
>Thank you for inviting me over, it's been such a long while since we've last seen each other. I'm really just glad you're still alive, haha!
Soytan turns over to Nate and, surprised, examines him with her eyes going up and down. He looks very different from the last time he's seen him, he looks bulkier, more hairy and very ungroomed. His appearance looks almost terrifying combined with the darkness of the interior of his home, not only are there no bulbs on but all windows are covered up by blinds.
>Wow- It really has been a while… What's up with the lights?
<I find light to be annoying. Isn't the darkness more comfortable for one's eyes?
Soytan gives him a worried look.

<Come with me, let's sit in the couch. I've already got your favourite loaded up on my switch, Super Smash Bros Ultimate.
Just like that, all her anxieties faded away. Of course, she's here to reconnect with her best buddy, Nate, playing vidya just like the old times!
