I would avoid using it. They claim the data is "anonymized" but the only anonymous data is no data. Also, they work with Google and the data collection is opt-out rather than opt-in (which if you're going to collect data should be the basic standard that respects the user). There is no reason to use it when there exist browsers such as ones ive mentioned before (ungoogled chromium, librewolf, icecat, firefox with arkenfox.js, mitigated palemoon) which send zero unsolicited requests to any third parties.

I agree. For 'normal' users, that is ones who are not willng to sacrifice website functionality for privacy it's either that, ungoogled chromium or mitigated firefox. One could argue that the mere act of using websites which are bloated to the point they do not function in alternative browsers requires giving up your privacy which i'd agree with but even switching from chrome/opera/vase firefox/vivaldi/whatever to a decent browser is an important improvement to privacy
